Following the recent Flooding that had ravaged many communities of Adamawa State, PHEOC with the support from the WHO, State Government, Federal Government (NCDC), Jami Al Hakeem Foundation(J-HF) and other NGO partners immediately formed a partnership; Cholera Response Team to assess the severity of the outbreak in the affected LGAs, for a rapid response to curb the increasing Cholera epidemic. The aftermath of the floods disaster is quite worrisome from the Cholera outbreak in six (6) LGAs in the state with Shelleng and Numan LGAs stand at the tall record of the incident reported so far in their communities. J-HF is part of the assessment team that went round the community and sensitized them on the needs for the importance of WASH.
